Pursue your love for acting and gain professional skills at UniSQ. Our Acting program immerses you in traditional and contemporary performance techniques for both stage and screen. Flexible study options let you learn online or participate in on-campus classes, workshops, and creative partnerships. UniSQ acting students develop adaptability, teamwork, creativity, and business acumen through hands-on training in performance, production, rehearsals, and critique. Final-year project courses open doors to diverse career opportunities through partnerships with regional theaters and arts groups.
Your degree can lead to various professional paths depending on your chosen subjects, including opportunities in traditional theater, screen media, education, global arts festivals, and beyond. Potential roles span stage acting (from musicals to experimental theater), screen acting, voice work for audio media, or comedic performance. Alumni have become performers, arts facilitators, creative directors, digital content creators, comedy writers, production crew members, media personalities, travel guides, video producers, playwrights, event coordinators, youth arts leaders, and—with additional education—educators and researchers.
