The demand for cyber security professionals continues to grow, with an expanding range of specialized roles in this ICT field. UniSQ equips graduates with practical cyber security expertise and policy understanding to enter the workforce prepared. Through the Networking and Cyber Security major, students master network design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Linux and Windows systems. The program covers WAN integration and develops problem-solving skills for computer networks, VoIP, video conferencing, and network services. Students gain hands-on experience through either an industry project or work placement in their final capstone course. This major offers flexibility to pair with another IT specialization, select multiple minors/electives, or even combine with disciplines like Science, Law, Business, or Arts to align with personal career goals.
