This full-time two-year program prepares you with the theoretical foundation, practical skills, and professional qualities needed for a physiotherapy career. You'll develop comprehensive knowledge along with clinical competencies, analytical abilities, and professional behaviors to deliver effective physiotherapy services across diverse settings.
Tailored for graduates holding an accredited bachelor's degree with prerequisite coursework in human anatomy, physiology, psychology, and statistics, this postgraduate program builds on your existing academic background.
The curriculum covers physiotherapy applications for managing cardio-respiratory functions, enhancing balance and motor control to improve functionality, and supporting motor skill development. Additionally, you'll explore pain management techniques and therapeutic exercises for compromised muscular systems.
An approved bachelor degree and have completed university level studies in human anatomy, and human physiology. Please see 'Additional application information' below for further details on entry requirements. Entry is competitive based on GPA with a limited intake e minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 4.5. The GPA cut-off for those offered a place in 2020 was 5.97.
