This program equips you with job-ready expertise for careers in pharmaceutical and medical device development. You'll acquire comprehensive knowledge about every phase of drug and device creation within the pharmaceutical sector.
The curriculum offers exposure to current industry standards, and upon completing the two-year full-time program (or its part-time equivalent), you'll master product lifecycle management and the journey from development to commercialization.
The program includes over 1000 hours of guided practical training across various product lifecycle stages - from initial discovery through post-market monitoring. This covers areas like research, chemical processing, production, preclinical studies, clinical testing, drug safety monitoring, health economics, compliance, medical communications, sales strategies, and data analysis.

Qualification Requirements
To enrol in the program, a person must:
- hold an approved bachelor degree in science, engineering, medical science, or equivalent; or the Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Industry Practice from this university; and
- satisfy the executive dean that, based on the person's academic record and prior work experience, the person is qualified for admission.
The minimum GPA to be considered for admission into this program is 5.0.
