The Master of Agribusiness program caters to both recent graduates in business, agriculture, or rural sciences and experienced professionals seeking to enhance their management capabilities or transition into agribusiness careers.
With access to more than 30 specialized courses, you'll develop in-depth expertise in agribusiness management while building essential business and communication competencies tailored to your chosen focus areas.
The program offers the option to undertake a research project on a subject of your interest, allowing you to advance your technical and research abilities through collaboration with the university's top academics or within an industry environment.
Upon completion, you'll possess a commercially astute, market-driven perspective with innovative global insights and the technical proficiency needed for agribusiness leadership positions. Graduates typically secure management, administrative, or research-oriented roles across food and fiber sector industries.
Bachelor degree in any field; or Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness.
UQ or equivalent GPA of 4.5 or above on a 7 point scale.
English Proficiency
IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
