Develop an in-depth knowledge of magnetic resonance physics and technology, making you highly sought after both locally and internationally.
This intensive 12-month full-time course caters to professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in magnetic resonance principles and applications. You'll work with the most extensive and sophisticated collection of magnetic resonance equipment in the Southern Hemisphere, featuring three whole-body scanners, multiple High Resolution NMR spectrometers, solid state and EPR devices, plus micro-imaging and animal imaging systems.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration, you'll receive instruction from seasoned radiographers, physicians, medical physicists, chemists, and engineers, covering magnetic resonance physics, image formation techniques, modern MRI scanner components, and specialized hands-on skills crucial for success in this rapidly evolving field.
Bachelor degree in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, medical imaging, medical radiation, radiography, allied health, biomedical engineering, engineering, computer science or an approved discipline. Applications on the basis of post-secondary study and two years work experience in a related field will be individually assessed.

For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
