The Graduate Diploma in Agribusiness caters to both new graduates in business, agriculture, or rural sciences, as well as experienced professionals seeking to refine their leadership capabilities.
Over one year of full-time study, you'll choose from 20 courses that deliver in-depth, specialized training in agribusiness management, along with relevant business and communication skills tailored to your chosen disciplines.
Our agribusiness graduates develop a strong commercial perspective, market-driven approach, creative global mindset, and essential technical abilities for agribusiness leadership positions. You'll be equipped for managerial, administrative, or research careers within the food and fiber sectors.
To be eligible for entry, you'll need:
A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or
to have completed post-secondary studies and/or have 2 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience (see below). Applications based on post-secondary study and/or work experience will be assessed individually.
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous degree.
English language requirements
IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ
TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19.
TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5.
Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands.
BE - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills.
CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands.
OET is not accepted.
