This six-month intensive program tackles interdisciplinary challenges while preparing you for leadership roles in the energy industry.
You'll receive instruction from top scholars, researchers, and global energy professionals about the intricacies of energy production, transmission, and delivery, along with the obstacles involved in moving toward sustainable energy solutions. The adaptable curriculum allows seamless integration with your current commitments, while career advancement is bolstered through specialized networking events and direct engagement with sector leaders.
The program examines how technology, policy, and innovation intersect in energy project execution. You'll develop expertise in navigating the delicate equilibrium between societal needs, financial viability, and ecological impacts. Through hands-on learning, you'll acquire the tools to address both the difficulties and prospects presented by the transition to renewable energy and distributed power systems.
Degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree in a relevant field with a GPA of at least 4.5 on a 7 point scale OR relevant post-secondary study and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Applications on the basis of post-secondary study and work experience will be individually assessed. Relevant fields include but are not limited to Engineering, Science, Environmental Management, Economics, Commerce, Business, Public Policy, International Development, Energy. 3-5 years practical experience in a related field is preferred.

IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ TOEFL IBT - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19. TOEFL PB - Overall 570, listening 54, reading 54, writing 59/5. Pearsons - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands. BEP - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills. CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands. OET is not accepted.
