Build outstanding financial expertise and engineering skills by pursuing a combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree with commerce studies. This dual qualification provides an additional professional accreditation and a sought-after skillset that employers highly prize. The engineering component allows you to hone technical abilities through a chosen specialization, forming the foundation of your professional journey. Select from disciplines including chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, or software engineering. Your specialization determines potential career paths across diverse sectors like infrastructure, healthcare, energy, or technology. The commerce curriculum includes essential courses covering key financial sector concepts such as accounting, economics, business law, and management. You'll emerge with both broad knowledge and specialized expertise, equipped to adapt your skills to any professional direction.

Civil engineering professionals address societal needs through designing, constructing, and maintaining essential infrastructure. They possess deep understanding of natural forces like water and wind dynamics, along with structural load resistance principles. Their work spans bridges, transportation networks, water systems, coastal defenses, and public health infrastructure. These engineers blend theoretical knowledge with practical solutions to create functional, cost-effective structures that serve communities. Requiring strong mathematical and physics aptitude, civil engineers tackle environmental and technological challenges while offering financial and technical guidance throughout project lifecycles. Customize your civil engineering focus through various specialization options: Majors include general civil engineering, environmental systems, fire safety, geotechnics, mining operations, structural design, transportation systems, and water/marine engineering. Minors cover computing, data analysis, and design principles.
