Become a highly sought-after registered nurse and positively impact people's lives. Nursing is a crucial and rewarding profession with strong demand. UQ's cutting-edge Bachelor of Nursing program was designed collaboratively with patients, students, professional organizations, and healthcare partners. The curriculum uses storytelling and investigative learning methods, combining clinical rotations in top teaching hospitals with community and healthcare environments. You'll gain practical experience immediately, completing over 1000 hours of supervised clinical work across diverse settings like hospitals, critical care units, emergency departments, pediatric wards, aged care facilities, rural locations, and mental health services. During your final year, our specialized placement team will organize your clinical rotation, allowing you to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations while honing clinical competencies.
