The Master of Philosophy (Philosophy & Theology) at The University of Notre Dame Australia offers an excellent academic pathway. This 18-month full-time program includes four hands-on research courses, a substantial research project, and guidance from a dedicated university supervisor. At Notre Dame, we empower students to engage in meaningful exploration and scholarly discussion about fundamental truths discernible through reason (philosophy). Our program draws from centuries of philosophical wisdom while examining the Church's teachings through Scripture and Tradition. The curriculum begins with four essential research training courses that prepare you for your thesis work, helping you refine research questions and strengthen analytical and academic writing skills. Your final research project will make an original contribution to ongoing philosophical and theological conversations.
