The Master of Health Sciences at The University of Notre Dame Australia is a research-based program that concludes with a thesis examination. Throughout your studies, you'll investigate the value of early intervention to prevent expensive medical care and the recovery process for individuals with chronic illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries. This degree requires at least two supervisors. Students in the Master’s by Research program can pursue their studies full-time or part-time. Typically, the maximum completion time (excluding approved leave) is two years for full-time students and four years for part-time students, with a minimum duration of one year. The thesis is evaluated by external examiners.
Every student must have at least two supervisors to guide and support them during the research process until the thesis is ready for examination. Prospective applicants are advised to reach out to the School of Health Sciences to schedule a consultation with an appropriate faculty member before applying.
