The Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) program offers an intensive three-year path for students holding an undergraduate degree in another discipline. This accelerated curriculum requires five courses in the initial semester of the first two years, followed by four courses per semester thereafter. Developed in partnership with distinguished legal professionals including judges, barristers, and solicitors, the program delivers a rigorous and streamlined legal education. Notre Dame's School of Law further enhances learning by involving prominent practitioners in teaching roles.
Students gain practical legal experience through various initiatives like the Legal Clinic, mentorship programs, court observations, mock trials, and internships. The program emphasizes developing essential legal competencies such as negotiation, advocacy, and conflict resolution in intimate classroom environments.
Beyond traditional coursework, participants are urged to expand their knowledge through legal competitions and professional development opportunities, including the notable Eminent Speakers Series. This platform facilitates meaningful dialogue between students, alumni, and top legal experts on current professional and legal issues.
The program is open to applicants who have a recognised Bachelor's degree (Level 7 AQF) in any discipline.
