Theatre enthusiasts will thrive in our in-depth Major in Theatre Studies. This three-year, full-time immersive program offers a blend of dramatic theory, modern theatre history, and practical skill-building workshops.

Students can customize their learning journey by choosing from diverse subjects like Acting, Directing, Performance Writing, Theatre Crafts, and Theatre for Social Change, creating a personalized curriculum.

Public performance opportunities allow students to showcase their talents before live audiences. The program cultivates versatile communication abilities valuable both in theatrical production and everyday life. Graduates emerge with strong collaborative, creative thinking, public speaking, and decision-making skills - opening doors to careers in performance, production, or arts education.

The Theatre Studies Major features 80+ hours of hands-on experience with professional theatre companies, along with multiple public performance opportunities. While ideal for aspiring actors and theatre professionals, the program also complements an Education Major for those pursuing drama instruction in academic settings.
