The Newcastle Business School offers interdisciplinary studies in Politics and International Relations. Students can choose these subjects either as a primary focus or as electives within various degree programs. Courses in this field are marked with the POLI code. Beginners are welcome, as no previous experience in Politics and International Relations is required for first-year students. The introductory modules, "Introduction to Politics" and "Australian Politics and Government", lay the foundation for advanced studies in this field and related disciplines.

i) have satisfied all of the requirements for admission to the degree of Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II, Division 1 or any other degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
ii) have satisfied all the requirements for admission to a degree of Bachelor in the University or another degree approved for this purpose by the Head of School; or
iii) in exceptional cases produce evidence of possessing such other academic or professional qualifications and/or experience as may be approved by the Head of School; or
