This dual degree program enables students to pursue both the broad business education of the Master of Business Administration while specializing in the marketing-focused curriculum of the Master of Marketing.
The MBA curriculum equips students with analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities essential for thriving in competitive business environments across corporate and public sectors. The program establishes core business foundations including accounting, finance, organizational behavior, economics, marketing, and management. It emphasizes analytical thinking and problem-solving through practical application of management theories, while cultivating vital professional skills in teamwork, communication, presentations, and time management. Students gain adaptability to organizational and technological changes through studies in organizational behavior, information systems, and change management.
The Master of Marketing program empowers students to assess current and emerging market opportunities while formulating effective strategies for both Australian and global business contexts. Participants will acquire comprehensive knowledge of marketing theories and their practical implementation across various business scenarios.
Entry into the Master of Business Administration/Master of Marketing will be available for applicants who have:
Bachelor (Honors) Degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification; or
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, communication, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, marketing; or
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, not in a related field and 1-year relevant organizational experience; or
At least 7 years' organizational experience, including 2 years in a management position; or
Successful completion of 75% (30 units) of one of the following UoN College of Human and Social Futures programs:
Graduate Certificate in Business Administration
Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance
Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
Graduate Certificate in Marketing
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting
Students seeking Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) must apply to the Program Convener. RPL applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
TOEFL paper-based test score of 550; TOEFL internet based score of 79; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5; PTE GSE score of 58; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 58.
