The program can be finished in one year of full-time enrollment or its part-time equivalent. Classes are structured into two semesters annually. The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is available at both Callaghan and Ourimbah campuses, though not all specializations are offered at both locations. At Callaghan campus, students can pursue specializations in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Science, Geography and Environmental Studies, Photonics, and Physics. Ourimbah campus exclusively offers Marine Science and Sustainable Resource Management specializations. The Psychology specialization is the only option available at both campuses.

Qualification Requirements
Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants having completed a Bachelor degree in a cognate area within the last five years with a minimum GPA of 5.0:
across all studies undertaken within the program, or
across a major in the proposed area of study, or
across 80 units of 3000 level courses (which must include at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists), or
where the applicant has completed less than 80 units at 3000 level, a GPA of 5.5 calculated from at least 60 units of 3000 level courses (which includes at least 40 units of 3000 level courses in the major where a major exists).
Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.0 with no subtest result below 6.0, TOEFL IBT 60 R: 13 L:12 S:18 Writing 21
