The foundation of the major will include looking at spatial science, human geography and the Earth’s dynamic processes to understand how these systems have shaped human development. You’ll look at the study of earth and water, coastal environments, globalisation and climate change. You’ll also conduct social research and geographical fieldwork to collect raw data related to your projects and develop the skills needed to pursue a career as a development compliance officer, demographer, environmental geographer or transport geographer.
