This one-year extension program is typically pursued by high-achieving graduates of the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Technology programs who seek to expand their expertise, either to enhance their professional skills or to qualify for postgraduate research studies.
Participants must complete project-based coursework along with specialized classes covering research methodologies and advanced computing subjects.
Upon graduating, students will demonstrate: Comprehensive mastery of computing principles with a focus on conducting research in specific computer science or IT domains. Proficiency in communicating with computer science researchers and professionals. Specialized technical skills in chosen computing disciplines and readiness for advanced academic research. Capability to implement sophisticated research concepts in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Competence in conducting independent, thorough analyses (including literature reviews) of existing knowledge in computer science and IT fields.
