The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program offers specializations in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Prospective Honours students should meet with the Newcastle Business School near the conclusion of the semester before their intended enrollment. Upon successfully finishing the program, graduates will be able to: Deliver effective oral presentations to diverse audiences. Produce clear written communications for various audiences. Function productively when working independently. Collaborate efficiently in team settings. Employ critical thinking and sophisticated analytical problem-solving techniques. Exhibit comprehensive understanding of theoretical frameworks, models, and concepts within their chosen discipline of Accounting, Finance, or Economics. Demonstrate competence in using information technology for research purposes. Implement skills that reflect awareness of global, social, and ethical considerations. Utilize advanced theoretical and methodological approaches to conduct independent, professional-quality research projects in their selected field.
Admission to our undergraduate degree programs usually requires successful completion of a senior secondary school qualification similar to the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
