The Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) is a one-year full-time (or equivalent part-time) program designed to deepen students' expertise in specialized areas. This qualification equips graduates for roles in the biotechnology sector while also serving as a stepping stone to advanced research degrees. Upon completing the program, students will gain: Specialized knowledge and skills for pursuing advanced studies and research in Biotechnology. Competence in designing, executing, and overseeing biotechnology research projects. Capacity to critically evaluate and interpret research findings independently. Skills to present compelling scientific arguments tailored to different audiences and to document research outcomes through comprehensive written reports and oral presentations. Proficiency in conducting advanced scientific work both independently and as part of a team. Understanding of ethical considerations, professional standards, and the societal implications of biotechnology.
Admission to our undergraduate degree programs usually requires successful completion of a senior secondary school qualification similar to the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
TOEFL paper-based test score of 500; TOEFL internet based score of 60; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0; PTE GSE score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 52.
