Students who have earned a Bachelor of Aboriginal Studies, Bachelor of Aboriginal Professional Practice, Bachelor of Global Indigenous Studies, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Social Science with a major in Aboriginal Studies or Global Indigenous Studies can pursue an additional year of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) to earn an Honours degree. International students with relevant degrees in health, education, or social sciences are also welcome to apply. The Honours program enables students to deepen their expertise in specialized areas. With a distinct Aboriginal focus, this program equips graduates for careers in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organizations, particularly in service-oriented roles.

Qualification Requirements

To be accepted for entry into the Bachelor of Aboriginal Studies (Honours) program you must have successfully completed a Bachelor of Aboriginal Studies program or equivalent with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 (credit grade average).
Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.0 with no subtest result below 6.0, TOEFL IBT 60 R: 13 L:12 S:18 Writing 21
