This specialization prepares graduates for professional careers in project management across public and private sectors, addressing responsibilities from strategic decision-making to operational details. The curriculum explores core principles and practical applications, encompassing project planning, risk assessment, contract management, human resources, equipment logistics, material handling, legal considerations, financial management, and economic factors. Developed as a professional certification through close industry collaboration, the program equips participants with essential competencies to assume leadership positions within their field.
Admission to the standard 2-year program requires one of the following:
4-year Bachelor of Engineering degree from Australia or accredited under the Washington Accord in any discipline with a minimum 65% average*.
3-year Bachelor of Engineering degree from the United Kingdom in one of the cognate disciplines below with a minimum 65% average*.
Students with this background may still be assessed for advanced standing on a case-by-case basis.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
