The Master of Taxation is a specialized program tailored for tax professionals seeking to navigate intricate tax-related challenges in business decisions and transactions. Led by top tax scholars, the curriculum explores advanced taxation concepts while fostering a deep comprehension of Australia's tax framework. Students will enhance their research capabilities, analytical thinking, and extended writing skills, along with mastering techniques for gathering and structuring information and resolving tax-related problems. The degree requires three mandatory core courses plus a capstone project, complemented by four elective options that align with each student's professional goals, ambitions, and focus areas. Qualification Requirements

A bachelor honours degree (AQF level 8) or a 4+ years degree in law, business, taxation, accounting or a closely related discipline (or equivalent qualification); or

A graduate certificate or graduate diploma in a related discipline; or

A recognised bachelor degree in a cognate related discipline with a minimum of 7 courses in law, business, taxation or accounting (or equivalent qualifications) with an average of 65% or more in these subjects, as determined by the UNSW Business School; and professional experience in professional services firms or in government departments) for applicants with an undergraduate degree in a taxation, law, business or accounting-related discipline; or

A recognised bachelor degree and completion of non-award TABL5551 with an average of 65% or more.

IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of B and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
