This program serves mainly as an advanced training curriculum. Participants gain foundational knowledge in Chemistry research while developing expertise in novel chemical methodologies. Students are required to conduct original research, though typically on a smaller scale compared to doctoral projects. While fostering innovation is important, consistent guidance remains essential: intensive supervision is particularly crucial during initial phases and when applying unfamiliar techniques. Typically, Master's research programs demand at least two years of full-time commitment, culminating in a thesis. An MSc thesis should generally contain no more than 75,000 words of written content.
