The Master of Finance is a specialized program designed for graduates who have focused on finance during their undergraduate studies and wish to enhance their expertise through advanced financial coursework. Developed in collaboration with the finance industry, this degree provides in-depth knowledge while introducing students to cutting-edge research and contemporary financial concepts. Through hands-on learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, students gain the ability to critically evaluate modern theories, methods, and practices within their selected specialization.
To be eligible for the program, you must have:
A recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator; and
A major (at least seven courses) in finance within the bachelor degree; and
A credit average (65% or higher) within the finance major, as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of B and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
