Drawing from UNSW Art & Design's expertise in providing top-tier postgraduate education for arts and cultural professionals, the Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership (MCCL) program is developed through comprehensive industry collaboration. With a proven track record of cultivating visionary graduates, our alumni have landed positions at prestigious global institutions including the Smithsonian, Carriageworks, and MAAS. This program caters to individuals eager to examine diverse aspects of curatorial practice and cultural leadership by engaging directly with galleries, libraries, museums, archives, and various cultural organizations. Our teaching approach involves strong partnerships with UNSW Galleries on campus, alongside numerous Australian and international creative industry collaborators. These connections enable students to gain multifaceted, cooperative industry exposure during their postgraduate journey. The degree offers opportunities both for professionals from museum, gallery, arts administration, art history, or artistic practice backgrounds, as well as those transitioning into curating or cultural leadership from other fields.
