The Graduate Diploma of Social Impact equips professionals seeking to expand their expertise in social impact. Tailored for emerging leaders, this program develops skills to strengthen professional capabilities across private, public, and social sectors, while enhancing leadership abilities in organizations focused on generating social and environmental benefits. You'll gain the tools to navigate an evolving cross-sector environment where market forces increasingly drive social innovation. Additionally, this diploma provides entry into the AGSM MBA (Social Impact) program.
The Graduate Diploma in Social Impact has three categories of entry:
Category A
Applicants require a recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator; and at least 2 years full-time relevant work experience.
Category B
Professionals without a bachelor degree can apply to the program if they have at least 5 years full-time relevant work experience in government, corporate or not-for-profit sector.
Category C
Students completing the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact (with a minimum overall WAM of 65) are able to articulate into the Graduate Diploma of Social Impact with full course credit given. Applicants must have at least 5 years full-time relevant work experience in government, corporate or not-for-profit.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of B and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
