This program is designed for graduates holding degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, or Science with a mathematics/statistics specialization who seek advanced training in mathematical sciences. It provides rigorous, advanced instruction in mathematical and statistical principles, specifically enhancing analytical abilities while expanding upon previous mathematical education. The curriculum prepares participants with the diverse skill set required in modern professional environments.
To gain entry to this program, students must:
Have completed a Bachelor of Mathematics or a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree with a major in mathematics or statistics; and
Have sufficient mathematical and/or statistical background, as indicated by an average of 65 or above in level III mathematics and/or statistics university courses.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
