The Materials Science Honours program provides undergraduate students with an introduction to materials research fundamentals and applications. Participants in this honors track complete a guided research initiative (MATS4505 Materials Science Honours Project - 12UOC across three terms) that focuses on building specialized subject expertise, applying scientific research methodologies, utilizing discipline-specific techniques, honing critical analysis skills, processing information and data, and effectively communicating research findings through both written reports and presentations.
