The Exercise Physiology Honours program provides undergraduate students with an introduction to medical research. Under faculty supervision, students complete a research project focused on scientific methodology, specialized techniques, analytical reasoning, and effective communication through written reports and oral presentations. These research projects can be conducted across various laboratories in the School of Medical Sciences (SoMS), partner hospitals, affiliated research institutes, or other departments within the Faculty of Medicine.

Students are expected to have completed the requirements for a three year full-time undergraduate Bachelor degree - typically these are a minimum overall WAM (weighted average mark) of a credit, and a completed major within the desired honours discipline.
