This program examines optimal approaches for utilizing renewable energy solutions, such as solar thermal technology, photovoltaic systems, wind power, and biomass. The curriculum integrates frameworks from various engineering disciplines, combining resources from across UNSW to create a unified program that fosters expertise in this expanding field.

While incorporating components from Photovoltaics & Solar Energy studies, the degree extends its focus beyond solar power to include diverse renewable technologies and applications. The program also covers critical aspects of solar-integrated architecture and the development of energy-efficient structures and devices. To prepare you for professional practice, you'll complete 60 days of supervised industry experience.
