Those with approved TAFE or RTO diplomas could receive credit to accelerate their studies. The program's flexibility lets you pursue one or two specializations (listed below) while choosing from diverse electives to tailor your education or maintain broad options. Selecting a single major requires complementing it with 8 additional units from any university discipline, expanding your knowledge base.
Pursuing the Accounting major with four extra units prepares you for accreditation by leading accounting organizations (CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ, and IPA). Qualification Requirements

Entry is based on Australian Year 12 equivalence, an approved VET qualification, or an approved overseas qualification. English language requirements must also be met.

You will need to meet both the Academic and English Language Requirements to gain admission into this course. Meeting academic requirements means we review what you have already studied to see if you have the results needed for admission to your preferred course.

This course is offered under three admission rules, each with its own Course Structure (Program of Study).

Rule A: You have completed, at minimum, an Australian Year 12 qualification or overseas equivalent.
If you are admitted on this basis and you will be studying at UNE's Armidale campus, you will be eligible for admission under Rule A. Please see the Rule A Course Structure (Program of Study).
If you are admitted on this basis and you will be studying at UNE's Sydney campus, you will be eligible for admission under Rule E. Please see Rule E Course Structure (Program of Study).

Rule B: You have completed an approved overseas qualification from one of the following institutions:

Qingdao Technology University Qindao College
Shandong Institute of Business and Technology
Technical and Vocational Training Corporation
WUXI South Ocean College
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule B. Please see the Rule B Course Structure (Program of Study) for a list of approved overseas qualification from these institutions.

Successful completion of an Australian Year 12 award with an ATAR acceptable to UNE in the year of admission (minimum scores for entry into each UNE course are available directly from UNE International), or
Successful completion of a recognised Foundation Studies program conducted by an Australian University or affiliate with a minimum score of 60% in all units including English.

An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic overall score of at least 6.0 with no sub-band less than 5.5*, or
Equivalent Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 213 in the computer-based test or at least 79 in the internet-based test with no less than 22 in the written component*, or
