The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) is an intensive year of study designed for outstanding undergraduates who have excelled in their bachelor's degree. This honours program allows you to deepen your expertise in your chosen field. More demanding than a standard degree, the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) provides comprehensive Arts programs spanning humanities, social sciences, and languages while strengthening students' research capabilities, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Students can focus on either a single discipline (pure honours) or combine two areas of study (combined honours).

Psychology is a diverse and intellectually stimulating scientific field centered on analyzing human behavior and experience. This discipline incorporates multiple perspectives and methodologies, with research applications extending to health, education, business, and societal challenges. An APAC-accredited fourth year in Psychology is essential for those pursuing professional registration as psychologists and serves as ideal preparation for research-focused graduate studies. The Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences delivers a cutting-edge fourth-year curriculum that expands upon the foundational knowledge gained in undergraduate studies. This program offers specialized coursework across core psychology domains, along with substantial research project experience and training in professional ethics, assessment techniques, and interview skills crucial for future psychological practice.
