The Bachelor of Arts (Honours Degree) provides an intensive year of specialized study for high-achieving undergraduate students. This honours program allows you to deepen your expertise in your chosen field. As an advanced academic pathway, the Bachelor of Arts (Honours Degree) demands superior performance compared to standard undergraduate degrees. It features diverse Arts disciplines across humanities, social sciences, and languages while strengthening students' capacity for sophisticated research, critical analysis, and creative thinking. The program develops students' skills in devising innovative approaches to challenging problems. Participants can focus on either a single discipline (pure honours) or combine two areas of study (combined honours). Qualification Requirements

In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have completed: within the last 5 years a Bachelor of Arts with a weighted average mark of at least H2B (70%), or equivalent, with a major relevant to the discipline stream within the Bachelor of Arts (Degree with Honours) that they seek to enter Applicants are also required to meet any specific subject prerequisites and prior academic performance requirements associated with the discipline stream that they seek to enter (please see individual specialisations for details; most discipline streams require completion of a major in that discipline with an average of at least H2A (75%) in second and third-year subjects within the major, or equivalent) IELTS - total score of at least 6.5 in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0. TOEFL (internet-based) - total score at of least 79 and scores of 21 for writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading and 13 for listening. TOEFL (paper-based) - total score of at least 577 with a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English.
