A Bachelor of Architectural Technology equips you to transform architecture's future using advanced digital technologies. As Australia's inaugural program of this nature, you'll immerse yourself in computer-aided design and building information modeling, gaining the technical expertise essential for success in the construction sector. Develop expertise in creating high-performance structures, from initial concepts to digital prototypes and construction plans. Acquire foundational knowledge of materials, structural systems, and energy conservation to pursue environmentally responsible design that addresses practical challenges and reimagines spatial concepts. Employ state-of-the-art CAD tools within a BIM framework to develop structures that integrate tangible and virtual elements. Guided by seasoned professionals, you'll work on real client projects and obtain hands-on experience in professional design settings, concluding with a comprehensive Architectural Technology Capstone project in your final year.
Successful completion of at least 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6, 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5 or above, or equivalent
