The Diploma of Applied Commerce involves finishing eight introductory Level 100 courses, identical to the first-year curriculum of the Bachelor of Applied Commerce. Earning this Diploma grants you one year of credit toward the Bachelor's program. The Bachelor of Applied Commerce is a career-focused degree that equips students for roles in financial services both in Australia and internationally. This program offers two specialization tracks: accounting and financial planning.
The Bachelor's curriculum includes shared courses for both specializations, followed by discipline-specific classes for each major. All students take eight core courses in their first year. The second year consists of four shared courses plus four specialized courses based on their chosen major. In the third year, students complete two common subjects (including an internship) along with six specialized courses for their major. Additionally, students can pursue a dual major in accounting and financial planning by taking extra coursework.
