The Master of Occupational Therapy equips students with expertise in assisting clients facing challenges with daily activities due to neurological, physical, or psychological conditions. Through problem-based learning, students work together to analyze, investigate, understand key concepts, and formulate effective solutions for real-world case studies.
The program integrates design thinking, technological applications, and entrepreneurial skills throughout its curriculum, developed in partnership with Indigenous Australian healthcare experts.
Participants complete three clinical placements in various healthcare settings, including community and hospital environments offering different therapy durations, plus a unique project-based placement at Design Factory Melbourne. In collaborative groups, students tackle real industry challenges, creating inventive solutions while gaining practical professional experience.
