The Master of Engineering (Research) program enables students to conduct supervised research in their preferred engineering discipline. Available specializations span various fields such as aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, maritime engineering, materials science, and mechanical/industrial engineering.
Participants cultivate essential competencies including autonomous problem-solving, project coordination, data interpretation, analytical reasoning, and advanced communication abilities. The curriculum teaches students to formulate research questions, design experimental methodologies, and effectively process, document, and disseminate scientific findings.
This degree emphasizes the cultivation of independent research capabilities, serving as excellent preparation for individuals aiming to pursue doctoral studies or establish careers in research-oriented professions.
You must have completed a three-year degree with a minimum average of 65% in the final year units of study. Other relevant experience will also be taken into account in assessing your application.
