The Graduate Certificate in Business Information Systems focuses on utilizing and overseeing information systems – essential knowledge for professionals in this domain. This program can serve as an independent postgraduate credential or as the initial phase toward earning a Master's Degree.
Through four foundational courses, you'll gain comprehensive insights that enable you to examine business information systems and analysis from multiple viewpoints.
Applicants are required to have one of the following: a bachelor degree (or higher award) in a related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; OR a recognised bachelor degree (or higher award) in any discipline PLUS a minimum of two years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience* OR a minimum of three years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience.
English language requirements
Satisfactory completion of one of the following:
Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%
minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
