Qualification Requirements

An APAC-accredited four year sequence of study in psychology with at least an upper second class Honours (H2A) or equivalent overall mark, OR
An APAC-accredited Master degree in Psychology, OR
An overseas qualifications assessed by the Australian Psychological Society as equivalent to either of the above, AND
Demonstrated possession of an appropriate level of knowledge and skill related to research.
Demonstrable counselling experience (e.g., Lifeline, Care Ring, or similar) is preferable but not essential for entry.
A minimum IELTS overall band of 7.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 7.0, or
satisfactory completion of the Swinburne English Language Centre EAP Advanced level certificate at the postgraduate level (EAP5 Advanced level with overall 75% and all skills 75% or above)
