The Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Media and Communication program provides students with diverse skills, knowledge, and competencies to effectively communicate health-related messages, innovations, and products to broad audiences.
Students will investigate both Australian and global health issues while analyzing health's physical, psychological, and social dimensions across various contexts.
The program also covers evolving media landscapes by exploring topics like diversity, social media impact, data management, privacy concerns, digital automation, and the modern digital economy.
The curriculum includes biological sciences such as anatomy, biochemistry, genomics, immunology, molecular biology, pathology, and physiology.
Students utilize professional-grade bioinformatics tools and can explore detailed virtual cadaver dissections. Recent additions to the program include contemporary coursework in Pathophysiology, Infections and Immunology, and Genes and Genomics, enhancing both academic rigor and professional applicability.
