The need for osteopaths is increasing as more individuals pursue holistic and preventive healthcare methods that are fundamental to this diagnostic and hands-on treatment approach for musculoskeletal and other bodily dysfunctions.
The Master of Osteopathic Medicine program aims to cultivate a deep analysis of osteopathic principles and applications, while training primary healthcare providers capable of addressing intricate issues with independent, critical thinking.
Students will complete extensive clinical training totaling 610 hours, supervised by seasoned professionals at Southern Cross University's advanced Health Clinic or other approved locations. Upon completion, graduates qualify for registration as osteopathic medicine practitioners.
