A career in early childhood education is both fulfilling and impactful, allowing professionals to give children a strong foundation for life. The 10-month Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) equips graduates for positions in preschools, long day care centers, and other early learning environments. This program explores key aspects of early childhood education, emphasizing theories, principles, and practical approaches to foster young learners' growth. Applicants need an undergraduate degree in any field, even those already holding teaching credentials. Students will gain hands-on experience through 60 days (480 hours) of supervised placements in early education settings. Prior to these placements, participants must fulfill regulatory requirements specified on the Faculty of Education's Professional Experience Requirements site. Successfully completing all placement hours while maintaining professional standards is compulsory.
