The Master of Fine Art curriculum provides extensive space for creative exploration. You'll receive guidance and be intellectually stimulated by faculty members who are practicing artists, performers, writers, historians, and curators, enabling you to investigate diverse mediums, conceptual approaches, and technical skills while honing your artistic vision.
RMIT maintains strong, established relationships with prominent institutions including the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Contemporary Centre for Photography, and others. You'll join a varied artistic network, forging enduring professional relationships with instructors and peers. The program connects you with arts professionals through regular discussions addressing industry challenges, prospects, and contemporary practice frameworks. A specialized seminar series helps you craft an arts industry proposal, which will be evaluated by seasoned experts from gallery, funding, and publishing sectors. Their constructive feedback will inform your final project submission.
