Expand upon your core understanding and abilities from the Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Osteopathy) as you prepare to enter clinical practice through the Master of Clinical Osteopathy. Designed to meet the Australian Osteopathic Accreditation Council's educational requirements, this two-year program systematically combines theoretical knowledge, clinical sciences, and hands-on application.
You'll develop expertise in conducting comprehensive patient histories to evaluate musculoskeletal conditions. The curriculum teaches functional assessment techniques, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic intervention planning. Practical training includes manual diagnostic and treatment approaches to address physical impairments, enhance mobility, and alleviate discomfort.
The program incorporates authentic and simulated clinical experiences, enabling you to synthesize and implement academic learning with practical skills. All clinical activities are guided, monitored, and evaluated by practitioners registered with the Ahpra Osteopathy Board of Australia.
Graduates qualify for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), equipped to apply advanced osteopathic knowledge in diverse healthcare settings. You'll graduate with sophisticated analytical capabilities and specialized understanding of osteopathy's regulatory standards across all age groups.
