No matter which specialization you select, you'll acquire hands-on teaching experience through structured placements in various educational environments, mastering how to design dynamic and accommodating classrooms for diverse learners. You'll build the expertise and self-assurance to encourage students across all age groups while refining your personal teaching approach.
Upon graduation, you'll be fully equipped to tackle future classroom demands as either a specialized primary educator or a generalist with expertise in early childhood or secondary education.
This specialization trains you to become a primary education specialist, providing internationally applicable competencies to guide young students during their crucial developmental years. You'll select one of two major focus areas along with a minor specialization. The program includes at least 80 days of supervised practical experience in schools and learning centers.

All classes emphasize small-group learning and practical workshops for immediate hands-on experience.
Program courses are primarily daytime on-campus offerings during regular semesters, with select flexible and intensive options available during spring and summer terms.
