Collaborating organizations feature the Mushroom Group (a powerhouse in recording and publishing), Music Victoria (Melbourne's premier industry advocacy group), the Australian Music Vault (preserving the nation's musical heritage), The Push (supporting young musicians), along with the Victorian Music Development Office, APRA AMCOS, the Australian Music Centre, and others.
Your third year includes an immersive industry internship. Past students have gained experience at major labels like Universal Music Australia, Warner Music Australia, and Sony; independent imprints such as Chapter Music and Milk Records; event promoters including Frontier; broadcasters like PBS FM; and renowned venues including The Tote, Corner Hotel, Laundry Bar, Opera Australia, and Melbourne Theatre Company. Additional placements have involved recording facilities, festival organizers, artist management firms, and other specialty areas matching student interests. Numerous interns have secured permanent positions with these organizations.
