Research shows that 75% of tomorrow's jobs will require STEM expertise. Preparing students for these emerging opportunities requires educators who can effectively teach these critical skills.
This program offers a distinctive pathway to develop comprehensive biological science knowledge before earning your teaching credentials. Rather than memorizing facts, you'll learn how to think critically. As an educator, this approach will enable you to foster curiosity, investigation, and independent learning in your students - helping shape the next wave of STEM innovators. Our science curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, emphasizing experimental methodology to develop versatile skills for classroom, lab, and field settings. Hands-on laboratory work, research projects, and field studies begin in your first year. Upon completion, you'll possess the analytical and problem-solving abilities essential for scientific success.
During your Master of Teaching program, you'll complete Professional Experience placements in secondary schools, applying your learning under the supervision of experienced educators. These placements may occur across public, private, or faith-based school systems. Opportunities exist for regional, interstate, or international placements.
