This program enables you to grow as an IT professional by enhancing your qualifications and expertise in the field. Tailored for graduates with an IT background, the curriculum focuses on developing practical skills in knowledge management, data communications, and business analysis. You'll deepen your IT understanding while emphasizing professional standards, clear communication, and project management through both technical and non-technical approaches. The degree offers customizable specialization options, including electives like Information Security Management, Data Resources Management, IT Strategy, and Business Analytics. You'll undertake an independent research project in your chosen area to strengthen your investigative and applied knowledge capabilities. Graduates of this course qualify to pursue a Master of Information Technology degree.
Recognised Australian Computer Society (ACS) accredited Bachelor's degree in IT (AQF Level 7); OR recognised Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) plus an approved qualification in IT (AQF Level 8); OR recognised Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) plus two years of relevant IT experience; OR recognised Honours degree (AQF Level 8) plus relevant IT experience. Recognition of relevant and current informal or non-formal learning may be used for entry requirements, and should be discussed with the Academic Chair.
English Language requirements: IELTS overall 6.0 with no band below 6.0; CAE - 169 overall with no band below 169; PTE - 50 with no band below 50; TOEFL IBT - 73 with no band less than 18; OET - OET with a minimum of C (250-290) in each of the four components.
